The girls played really well in this match. We were missing some of our top players however we used this match to try different position arrangements. Oundle Town put up a good fight, stealing goals and taking advantage of our errors. Our through-court play was fantastic, the timings of the leads were visual representations of how our team is getting more familiar with each other. Some fantastic movements from Fenella J in the D got the goals in early on, she had a great first match in the team having just recovered from an ACL injury and was a huge contributor to the final score.

As we settled into the game the defence performed some excellent sequences of play with Lucy A chasing every loose ball and Lily M charging onto each ball thrown at her player. In the final quarter, we tired out, and ever so slightly lost the rigor we had from the 2nd and 3rd quarters; however, we managed to finish the game winning 43-15. An impressive score and the team should be very proud of themselves.
