Dear Mrs Kerr-Dineen,
I hope this email finds you well. I'm delighted to share the commendable achievements of our Badmington team players at the County U19 Badminton Championships, which took place on 30th September and 1st October.
In the U19 girls singles match, Emily Luo displayed remarkable badminton skills, leading her to victory and awarded the first place of the match. Final match score 21:19 . Alongside with Sophia Zou not far behind with the skills and have awarded the third place of girl's singles. In the U19 Girls Doubles category, Jo and Lemay demonstrated exceptional coordination and skill, awarding third place of the match.
Sadly, due to the absence of our top boys' player, we faced challenges in the Boys Singles. The competition was notably fierce, with the opposing teams fielding some exceptional players. In the Boys Doubles, Sea Phuchanakit and Kieran Daley fought hard, clinching second. They encountered some nerves, but I'm sure this experience would help them learn to play under pressure for upcoming fixtures.
With notice of our weakness on mixed doubles, our aim is to undertake more training sessions upon our weakness, ensuring we evolve into a well-rounded team and improving our overall performance.
Yours Sincerely,
Betty Zhang & Julian Kwok
