On the 23rd of May 15, swimmers from the Oundle Swim Team took part in a fixture against Uppingham and Rugby at Uppingham School, for the final event of the year. Despite ongoing exams, many swimmers still managed to make time to come and compete, coming out on top in the end. Along with the victory, the squad achieved 6 personal bests; a successful fixture.

I would like to give a special mention to Olivia Perring (W L6 LEC) for breaking the school record for the U18 girls Individual Medley which had stood since 2016.

I would like to say congratulations to the entire team for coming together for a final success in a very successful season, despite looming exams for many of the swimmers involved. Finally I would like to thank Mrs Clipstone for giving us the opportunity to compete, and wish her a happy retirement.
