Match Report
Oundle School Boys-U13A vs  Wisbech Grammar School
On: Wednesday, 27 Sep 2017
Venue: at Home

Even without the result we strived for, the boys put in a valiant effort. With multiple good breaks from Ollie cruse and a brilliantly worked try from Monty Jones.
In the first half we couldn't quite keep out the short rush of tries scored by Wisbech (who deserve lots of credit, owning up to a dropped ball showing good sportsmanship and passion for the game.). In the second half we really pulled ourselves together. Working as a unit instead of individuals we made some brilliant runs and tackles, helped massively by Orlando Bateman being called up from the B team at the start of the second half, he played a stunner helping us forge some momentum of our own. Even with a few injuries - Monty Jones after scoring his try - and Joe Hancock we really showed our worth and did ourselves proud. To all of you boys well done and thank you for a great game of rugby.
(Even if it does need to come wide more!!!)
